Brow lift
In facial feminization surgery, forehead lift is almost always combined with forehead trimming and hairline remodeling (forehead reduction), procedures that use the same incision. In the feminization procedures of the forehead, it is very important to correct the position and shape of the eyebrows with a brow lift after remodeling the frontal bone.
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)
A sign revealing the aging of the face is the redundancy of the skin of the upper eyelid and the lower eyelid pouches. Simultaneously with facial feminization surgery, it is common for eye bags and drooping eyelids to be corrected with a procedure called "blepharoplasty."
Cantoplasty (elevation of the corner of the eye)
Cantoplasty is a surgical procedure that is used to help create an upward tilt in the outer corner of the eyelid or correct a droopy appearance in this part of the eye. The cantoplasty is used to create the look of cat eye very requested with a corner of the outer eyelid tilted up.
Although the exact procedure used for a canthoplasty varies from one patient to another, the main objective is to cut the lower canthal tendon to be able to move and tighten it. Generally, an incision is made in the outer corner of the patient's eyelids to access the tendon. Care is taken to make the incision within the natural crease in the eyelid to minimize the visibility of the scars as much as possible.
